They were Crusader...。本片以三岛47年来持续面对的“某个事件”为基础，从自主电影制作开始。故事以北海道洞爷湖的中岛、东京伊豆群岛的八丈岛、大阪的堂岛为背景，围绕着重要角色“丽子”展开心灵的挣扎。以“乘船而去者”、“等待船来者”、“乘船而来者”及“方舟”为主题，描绘了三位心灵受创的角色，三个故事在此交错。当分别在不同“岛屿”上进行的故事因某个共同点交汇时，惊人的事实浮出水面。。两名日本男子帮助一名越战逃兵从日本逃到瑞典。他们计划通过出售迷幻药来为逃跑提供资金。毒品交易的消息传开后，他们发现自己必须抵挡敌对帮派的攻击，少女真子的姐妹帮派也被牵扯其中。。
