Aired on HBO from 6 June 1999 to 3 October 1999。由人类改造而成的“水之星球”AQUA上，有一座著名的观光城市“新威尼斯”。15岁的水无灯里（叶月绘理乃 配音）从地球来到新威尼斯，憧憬着成为一名帅气的领航员，“领航员”的主要工作是划着凤尾舟载着游客领略水城的美景。她在一所叫亚利亚的领航公司中担任领航员工作，她先后结识了蓝华、爱丽丝等好友，还遇上被称为“三大水精灵”之一的艾丽西亚前辈。 身为“半熟手”的灯里，尽管还不能熟练地出航招待客人，但她每一天都为梦想而努力着。在水之城新威尼斯上，乐天派的灯里和她的朋友们经历着各种各样的新鲜事，从这些与地球全然不同的际遇中，灯里渐渐地意识到要成为一名出色的领航员意味着什么。。Lily's life is turned upside down when she is forced to leave her friends to spend the summer on a remote ranch with her nature-loving aunt.
