小山东初次来到香港，想投靠同乡刀疤老三，怎知被他拒绝。小山东唯有靠自己，在街头卖大力丸维生。因小山东言语不通，又太过老实，经常闹出不少笑话。其后小山东见义勇为，认识不少朋友，从而令生活得到改善……。Based on the 1980s comic books by Tadeusz Baranowski, is primarily aimed at children. “But the element of nostalgia is obvious for today's 30- or 40-year-olds, who often are also parents, and I care about this intergenerational, shared experience of the film.
